yet again its been too long. i am under alot of pressure at the moment with college and stuff but i am going to try to make at least one post a week.
anyway, we are still six points clear and looking strong. we are playing some brilliant football and we look like we have the ability to go all the way. i thought our second half performance against spurs was emphatic to say the least. if i ever felt like we are going to win the league it was after this game. we completely overpowered them and showed a hunger, desire, strength and belief that was bound to leave jose and chelsea feeling blue.
previous to that, the game against arsenal was the complete oppisite. a game we were leading and looked to be in control of and gifted back to the gunners. we were happy with the goal lead ans started time waisting and so on to run ddown the clock. this to me was naive given the unquestionable quality arsenal have up front. what we should have done is what we do best, play football. we should have put them to the sword, simple as that.
i felt cheated after that game because it was obvious to me we had the beating of arsenal and after 95 minutes the only team we beat was ourselves. if i felt sick after the game i would have hated to be in our dressing room after it. there were lessons to be learnt and after the spurs game i think they were. maybe that defeat was a blessing in dissguise and if we meet arsenal in the fa cup or champions league, i know where my money will be going.
