its been a long time and im very sorry for not having posted earlier. we were on a great run and i didnt want to put a hex on things by opening my big mouth. anyway,i cant bury my head in the sand for ever so i may as will kick off now.
what can i say about our season so far only wow. if you had told me in august we would be six points clear on the 3rd of january i would have laughed at you to be honest. what we achieved this season is beyond my wildest dreams and i couldnt be happier with our position right now.
we are playing reasonably well and getting results, which is more then can be said for chelsea. things are going well but could be going better.
Rooneys form is slightly dodgey and he is not taking his chances as well as he can. Saha has picked up a knock and could be out for two weeks. we need a quality midfielder and Park is still far from top form. there are some problems that need to be adressed to maintain our push to glory but it can be done.
on the positive side we have Laarson coming in and a host of players coming back from loan. our squad is getting stronger and with the addition of a quality central midfielder we would certainly be a formidable side.
as for chelsea the wheels are falling off big time. without chec and terry they are an ordinary side of prima donnas and if they were to loose drogba God only knows what would happen them. im sure they will probably go on a run now but the games are mounting up for them and maybe there is a slight doubt creeping in to them. dont rule out arsenal or liverpool either.
whatever happens, it makes for an enthralling climax to the season and i only hope we show the mettle to see out our brilliant start. we live in hope. keep the faith and i wont leave it so long the next time.
