its been a long time but im going to have to pull up my socks and make time to post regularly again. since i last communicated italy ran out lucky winners of the world cup,england were knocked out too early because of poor management and i have recieved my golf handicap(17)
for the soccer,i havent much to comment about as there isnt much happening at the moment. i just hope united sign some big names and soon as possible because they are badly needed. torres and carrick look like united players to me and i think would be worthy additions to our squad. fingers crossed but i am sick worrying about it and what will be will be.
as for the golf you first need to understand that i have a history with this great sport. as a child i played alot and was earmarked by my local pro to have the potential to go a long way. unfortunatly i probably played too much and the discovery of cigarettes alcohol and women led me to a life of overindulgance inother less productive ways. however i have had somewhat of a spiritual rebirth and i am beginning to rediscover the game i once loved so much.
i am getting lessons from a retired pro called gus murphy. gus is a gentleman whohas a great understanding of the swing. he believes i have a bright future and could be one of the biggest hitters in the country. i hope he is right and i am hitting the ball immaculatly on the range. my diffuclty is transferring that onto the course. there is an open day competition in ballinrobe golf corse every friday and the top three finishers are invited to return for a final near the end of the year. i have set it as my goal to qualiy for the final. although i know it could end in tears i wont give up until the fat lady sings or im successful. i live in hope.
